## Questions

### What does zero-knowledge mean here?

It means the plaintext never exists outside your device. There is no server holding ciphertext either, so the usual zero-knowledge caveats about metadata do not apply.

### Could you be compelled to hand over my entries?

We cannot hand over what we never receive. There is no database of users, entries, or keys to subpoena.

### Is metadata like entry timestamps exposed?

Timestamps live inside the encrypted store on your machine. They are visible to you and to nobody else.
