Not without your passphrase. The entries on disk are ciphertext; the app simply refuses to open without the phrase.

### Is it safe to write about other people?

As safe as anywhere can be. Nothing is uploaded, indexed, or shared, and there is no future reader unless you make one.

### Can I delete an entry permanently?

Yes. Delete removes it from the local store; there is no server-side copy or trash bin in the cloud.
