# A journal you can give your clients without becoming a custodian of their thoughts.

_One HTML file. Passphrase-locked. No accounts, no servers, no PHI flowing anywhere. The work belongs to the client._

The Sealed Journal is not therapy software and is not HIPAA-certified — and that is the architecture, not an oversight. It is a quiet writing tool you can hand to a client without taking on any custodial duty for what they write in it.

Clients who don't trust apps tend to recognise this immediately. There is no signup, no analytics, no third-party scripts. The file is not minified; clients (or their tech-literate friends) can verify this themselves.

If they leave your practice, the writing leaves with them. If they want to bring an entry into the room, they copy it into a session note. You never become the keeper of their unprocessed material.

## Questions

### Can I recommend it to clients without a data agreement?

Since no client data reaches us, there is no processor relationship to paper. Clients hold their own file and passphrase.

### Does it help with reflective practice logs?

Yes, for personal reflective writing. Formal case records still belong in your practice management system.

### Are there licences for a whole practice?

Yes. Site licences for clinics and teaching practices are available on request.

## Price

The Sealed Journal is a one-time purchase of $24 (introductory price, rising to $29). No subscription, no account, lifetime updates, 30-day refund. Buy at https://sealedjournal.com/#pricing
